Description : We are India (Jammu Kashmir) based looking to outsource our requirement of Cad/Cam Service. We are looking for digitalization of records and images. The duration of the contract is 12 months with the possibility of further extension.
Scope :
1. The archival records will be mostly on paper and in languages such as Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Persian etc
2. The size of the records or manuscripts will vary from A4, A3, A2 and A1 with exception of some being longer or larger
3. Preservation of archival records into digital format
4. Records/Manuscripts are available on Paper of various types
5. Some of them have charts or illustrations created using vegetable dyes, ancient inks, metals such as gold, silver etc.
6. All pages of the records/manuscripts shall be numbered before scanning, if not already numbered
7. Face Up Scanners or any other non touch device shall be used to capture images of the manuscripts
8. Original raw image shall be saved as per Master Image Specification
9. Raw image shall be processed to remove dirt, water marks, gamma correction, removing patterns, color adjustment
10. Migrate digital images to new file formats or physical media to ensure long-term accessibility.
This is a global and off site tender. The EMD is 2000 INR. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than February, 22, 2010, 3:00 PM by courier, post. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings. Please refer the attachment for more details.
